The fires claimed 29 lives and over 23 acres burnt, and over 200,000 people were evacuated. But even in the ashes of devastation, a regenerative future is rising. We need a collaborative effort globally such that we've never seen before. In World War ii, you might remember Alli Nations came together to defeat the Nazis. And we need that kind of collaboration on a global scale, but on steroids, and then on the technological side, similar to what John Kennedy said in 1961, when he said that the US was gonna send a man to the moon and bring them back safely within the decade we need, we had that same kind of urgent need for technological innovation. And the connection between a climate and community is that the climate challenge is so huge that only a community can solve it. And so that's my area of expertise. So I'm trying to pull together a community that can do just that, bring multiple different areas of discipline in technology, expertise and experience together under the same roof, and to see what we can create together.
